So Jo’s not totally into the bread baskets. To be exact, he said “They look like something you’d see at an Italian restaurant”. This is true. Defensively I thought, “we’re serving food to 150 people, what’s wrong with the centerpieces resembling a restaurant”. Jo also shot down my mason jar idea. In reality, I’m a little taken back at how right on his comments are. The baskets do look very restaurnt like and mason jars are a little too rustic for the venue. I guess we should shoot for things that are a  little more Jo & Patti style, even though we don’t know what that means just yet.  Anyway, I like this idea:

One time in junior high (or was it middle school, it was one of many), my friend Brian called me Practical Patti. I was rather offended and couldn’t imagine why someone would insult me so terribly. There’s much talk of centerpieces when the W word is uttered and at this point, my mom, Jo’s mom, my friend Jason, and friend Jes have all discussed the matter. At this point, I’m tempted to throw creativity to the wind and go with the following practical option
