My ring, Jo's toes.
So, Jo and I got engaged on January 9th. This was very exciting as Jo did the best job ever getting the exact ring I wanted. Five gold stars! My ring is from www.bmjnyc.com. I found her on etsy and spent many a night imagining what my ‘beauty in imperfection’ ring would look like. Would it be too bumpy? Too perfect? Too imperfect? Too thin? Would my grandmother’s diamond look even smaller in the wider setting? Would she laugh at how tiny it was? No, it would be beautiful, the most pefect ring in the world (And it is!) And then off to sleep. ZZzzzzzzzz
When Jo first pulled it out (not on bended knee, thank God!), I felt like I was at the eye doctor, I was focusing on something I knew. My ring! It was my ring! Of course this prompted me to respond “Are you sure?” then to giggle with delight, then to cry for just a little second.
Ps – We were engaged on the same day as Tom Brady & Giselle. Go Pats!
