Pictures – Please bring your digital camera

So Jo and I are totally up in the air about photography. Another couple said they were spending like 6 grand or something on a photographer. We don’t have 6 grand. Jo’s close friend Brandon is an awesome photographer (I could spend hours looking at his work), but we don’t want him tied up the whole time. I have a good friend who took really lovely pictures of me years ago, but I guess he doesn’t take photos much anymore. Jo knows of a guy who used to do band photos but we’re hesitant to make a decision yet. Regardless of what we end up doing, I’m definitely going to have a laptop and digital photo up-load station like they describe here.

I guess I’ll have to give up my boycott of Walmart, unless I can find the card reader online.

So for anyone reading this – PLEASE BRING YOUR DIGITAL CAMERA!

According to the bride who did a DIY version with a laptop, she got 700 pictures she never would have anticipated. 700 action shots sounds great to me and having them right away sounds even better. I don’t think I’ll have my aunt (or anyone’s aunt) man the laptop, but I have a feeling my dad will offer to get involved. He’s a computer geek (love ya dad!)
