Sitting in a Tree Blog

The wedding ceremony is at Larz Anderson Park, at but not in, the Temple of Love.  The address is 23 Newton Street, Brookline, MA 02445. There are two options for parking. You can enter at the Larz Anderson Auto Museum at 15 Newton Street Brookline, MA and follow the street/path to the left of the museum (don’t park there, it’s for visitors of the Auto Museum). Continue up the hill.  At the top of the hill, turn left and park. Walk back down the hill until you see a path that leads down to the stone gazebo, take the path down into the park and join us!

The other parking option is on Goddard Street. From Newton Street, turn right on Goddard and find parking on your right. From there, walk back down toward Newton and enter the iron gate at the corner of Goddard and Newton. Take the path that runs right by the beautiful pond and you’ll see us on the left (right past the fountain).

If you find these directions confusing, I have a word doc with images that I can email, but I have a feeling you’ll understand once you arrive at the ceremony site, as others will be parking.

Reception Parking

You have choices here too. The reception is at 85 West Newton Street, Boston, MA. It’s in the South End neighborhood. You can try to park on Tremont street, but if you don’t want to chance it, we’ve reserved a parking lot and shuttle bus at 560 Harrison Avenue. The parking will be free and secure. Once you park, a gentleman will shuttle you and other guests in a passenger van to the reception and back to your car at the end of the evening.  (all the proceeds from this will go to the South End little league team).
